Rita Deli, located in the bustling heart of Kadıkoy, Istanbul, is a culinary gem for lovers of mouthwatering sandwiches and burgers. Customers rave about their delectable Reuben sandwich, described as "one of the best sandwiches" they've ever had. The flavorful combination of tender pastrami, tangy mustard, and lightly toasted bread results in an unforgettable bite that leaves patrons eagerly returning for more.
The restaurant also offers a unique selection of burgers, though some diners have noted that while impressive, they might not steal the spotlight from the renowned sandwich offerings. The Cheddar Soslu Tütsülenmiş Kaburga Tiftik Burger, for instance, features a smoky flavor that pairs well with barbecued goodness, satisfying but not as standout as the Reuben. Reviewers appreciate the cozy ambiance, with some even mentioning the welcoming staff who enhance the dining experience.
While prices can be on the higher side—especially when compared to other cities—many agree that the quality justifies the cost. Overall, Rita Deli is a must-visit for anyone seeking robust flavors in fast-casual dining, delivering a blend of comfort and innovation that leaves a lasting impression.

Based on 884 reviewsRita Deli is recognized for its distinctive and flavorful sandwiches, particularly the pastrami and Reuben options, which consistently receive high praise for their quality and taste. Customers appreciate the cozy, casual atmosphere located in the heart of Kadıköy, with friendly staff adding to the welcoming experience. While some note the higher price point compared to similar offerings elsewhere, many find the food worth the cost. The establishment's extended hours with advance notice and the availability of complementary sides like spicy chips further enhance its appeal. Minor concerns about cleanliness have been mentioned but generally do not overshadow the overall positive impression of the food quality and service.
Nice cozy place at the heart of Kadikoy. They serve till midnight if you give heads up before you arrive. They have pastrami, reuben and rib option. Pastrami and reuben is fine and rib is better option I think. It is worth to stop by if you like to try something irregular for fast food.
Just cool and delicious pastrami.... The same pastirami is 9 € in Bucharest but it is 28 € in here. Why is that so expensive, I don't know
Absolutely divine sandwich (Reuben) with the best chips (went for spicy) on the side. Staff were friendly and the chef spoke English. The place is a little dirty, but the food more than made up for it. They also have a more ‘fancy’ dine-in restaurant around the corner which I’d highly recommend. I’d definitely come again.
I rarely give five star reviews, but holy mother of beef! The Ruben sandwich I had was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten…I’m more than impressed! Incredibly tasty, light bread yet toasted to perfection, delicious meat, tangy mustard— everything was perfect! I added a little salt and a bit of smoked bbq sauce for fun and it was just insane. Highly recommend this sandwich! Excited to try the others. That being said, I did also try the burger and it was just alright. Not the star of the show for sure. A bit gamey tasting. Over all delicious, Reuben sandwich...but a bit pricy. Would also loved a side of wedges and ranch sauce maybe. And a pickle for the inside is a must to cut off all that savouriness without something sharp and fresh. A pickled jalapeño or something too would work. Something to compliment the sandwich. I am satisfied! Update: I got it again for dinner, but this time I got the 180g of pastrami instead of the standard serving of 90. So basically double the meat. And yes it’s worth it!
